  1. Im just getting back into beading (after 15 years) and really enjoy your channel. I have a underbed storage box of gemstones (many junky) and all sizes and colors of pearls (and crystals). I would LOVE if you could do tutorials using these elements!

  2. I usually wear whatever I feel like I’m not one to follow a trend. I do not like the one earring being different than the other. I don’t mind if one is the stars and then maybe the other one is the moon phases something that coordinates with each other same sizes I’m also not a chunky jewelry fan and I would never wear those flowers and I might wear a brooch, but I’m not sure do you have some but my mom‘s old ones, and I think I would like to wear brooch. I do want more content like this. It really helps a lot as far as even if it’s not what I’m doing there are some things that I did see that I wouldn’t mind like mixing silver and gold I love rose gold, so I think mixing three of those would be good thank you for the video was very helpful. 😊

  3. I'm just seeing this now that 2024 is fading away lol😂not that I follow the trends anyway, but it was an interesting video:) I do wonder what happened to the handful of brooches I once owned… Anyway, interesting content, and I look forward to seeing 2025 trends… not that I'll likely follow them either, but still fun to know

  4. Just to add: Coco Chanel wore big cuffs, sometimes matching, sometimes coordinating, OVER her (silk) shirt sleeves. She had that vision back in the 30's, so it is great to see it being revived. It makes you feel like Wonder Woman, no kidding.

  5. Yes on: Quiet Elegance, Mixed Metals (especially in the same piece), Updated Pearls, Statement Earrings, Stacked Rings. I have a friend who looks great in the one long earring — and I totally admire it on her, but I can't help but feel lopsided, like I'm half-dressed.

  6. I’m not a trend-follower at all, but I love this content. It’s fun to see what’s “now”. ❤ If I had to pinpoint a signature in accessories, for me, it’s yellow. Just one little pop of yellow just makes my heart happy… a belt, a hat, a hair bow, etc. 💛💛💛

  7. Great content. New subscriber immediately. Not sure if I will embrace all the trends as am only 4ft 8 ! I love the quiet luxury and the pearls as well. I was about to get rid of some pearl costume jewellery but luckily you stopped me. 🙏🏻

  8. I really enjoyed this video Carol so much so that I've subscribed…also have had a look-see at some of your tutorials and they look fabulous! I'll be making all sorts of wonderful jewellery soon with your help, and I'm so happy I found your video! Thank you!

  9. You and I have very different styles. However, I love your videos because you don’t act like your style is above or below anyone else’s. I can’t stand some of these influencers pretend that if you’re not dressing like them, you are out of style or beneath them. I would hate to imagine what a boring world we would live in if everyone dressed and styled themselves the same. I literally do not go on Instagram because every single female on there looks exactly alike to me.

  10. I never follow any trends. I am happy and thankful that I never feel the need to follow trends bcz I am my own gal! Lots of color and my own flare! Especially since I make my own jewelry and clothes for decades! I do admit that I’m happy to see pearls, even though, in my opinion, Pearls never go out of style. Also thrilled to see Flowers! Especially since I am a lace jewelry maker and Flowers are a big part of my designs. Whenever I wear my rings, I’m always huge colorful statement rings and many rings, especially since I also wear Ring splints to help my hands. Like big bangles, and arm full stacked bangles. I don’t really wear daily but anytime I’m dressed up, it’s part of the outfit plan!

  11. I don’t see myself doing the single earring or asymmetrical earring trend. But the others are do interest me. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how absolutely gorgeous your ombré necklace is! Thank you for sharing this video with us!

  12. I got into the lobster jewellery trend two years ago when my dear husband bought me a blue and gold lobster ring but since the war in Israel started I am not wearing any jewellery but I'm wearing button pins to support Israel I think of it as wartime jewellery

  13. Carol,I’like you to , because I’m french Canadian and I don’t always understand what you’re saying, to tell to me all I need as tools, good ones! I bought a lot of those and after a while it does’nt work well. Am’I too rough, I don’t think, but I think I 😅 well!
Can you help me? Thank you so much of answering to me! Lisette Cadotte from a little village between Montreal an Ottawa, half way!

  14. I don't consider several of those as trends, especially mixed metals, layered necklaces, statement earrings, statement rings, cuffs and pearls. I've worn them for years, as do many I know. I make jewelry to sell, (and for myself) and have made most of these since the 90's. And flowers are a common theme in my jewelry as well (not made from fabric though, it gets nasty too quickly). While I realize the fashion industry sets the "trends", I'm oblivious to them, and have never understood why so many are slaves to it.

  15. Thanks Carol for this fun & informative trends report. Your presentations are enjoyable & I love your personality!
As a “ woman of a certain age”, I won’t be wearing uber large pieces of any jewelry. I have worn mixed metals for years & love them as well as the classic, timeless, elegant & understated pieces of gold or silver with pearls or gems. I inherited a large brooch collection so I’m all over this trend ! I love flowers but they can be tricky to incorporate into wearable designs.
    Have a lovely day! Eve
